Buyers at Epic usually ask the same questions: how do I read a count size, what is the difference between individually frozen and block frozen, and where do I find glazing, a technical spec sheet or a minimum order quantity? This page answers them based on what is actually published on shop.epic.be today, and refers to Epic for everything else.

Application and ordering
For a buyer, the count size is the first decision point: a lower number (for example 6/8 pieces per lb) means larger, heavier pieces, while a higher number means more, smaller pieces per kilo. For fish fillets, Epic works with a weight per piece in grams (for example 150-200 g/piece for cod loins) instead of a count per lb. The second decision point is the pack format: individually frozen units (IWP) allow you to thaw a partial quantity without touching the rest of the carton, while a block frozen carton (such as the 1.44 kg Black Tiger blocks) is typically used for larger volumes and further processing. Certifications such as MSC and ASC appear only on the references for which they actually apply, not across the full range; IFS Logistics, IFS Broker and AEO do apply company-wide. Reference-specific logistics data, such as the exact glazing percentage, a technical spec sheet or a minimum order quantity, is not listed in the public catalogue: the simplest route is to request it directly from Epic, together with access to the webshop for pricing.
